I used this to mixed effectiveness with my 3rd grade class this year. They were a bit too wild and a large class so we didn't want to make a performance. Neither I nor my TT were their regular teachers.
Anyway after reading the story in the first lesson over the next few lessons we alternated between doing the keyword game in one lesson to practice the animals and then in the next session the point getting quiz game to practice the adjectives. Assign the teams colors, print out a color card for each group and a color cards for the board to keep track of score.
This was difficult. The vocabulary is hard and the students are young. However in the previous unit we taught some adjectives and did adjective quizzes so it went okay.
