One Piece Review Game

Powerpoint Game used to review anything

I adapted this game from the Pokemon review game by the famed KYLE LEDUKE.

Basically you open treasure chests, answer questions, and get prizes, like gold, or maybe dried-up bones. Obviously it's set in the world of One Piece so you can get power-up fruits and stuff like that. Just a fun alternative to the many other review type games. Hope you enjoy!

You can play with students in groups. You can get them to say a magical word when opening chests like, "open sesame" or whatever.

The problem with these review games is trying to get all students working, even when it's one specific team's 'turn'. One way you can get around that is having all teams use a whiteboard to write answers and giving 1 point to the correct team and only the team whose turn it is gets the specific prize indicated by the game. A different team member will write on their team's whiteboard for each turn. Just an idea to get everyone more involved.

The template has some random questions that are basically at a JHS 1st grade level. Obviously you'll want to change them to whatever you're reviewing.

One Peace!

This is one of the most polished games I have seen in my short time here. Most games and reviews lack good presentation skills, but you nailed it. You should be proud as heck

This game is great and talk about a rollercoaster of emotions! I tried hard to think of ways to make the game work fast (because there's 45 Qs) without using whiteboards. So i made a hard limit of 10 seconds for each group (4-5 students) to answer their respective question (The order would just be Group 1 - 10), then after that limit the fastest hand from a different group could answer. This keeps them on their toes at all times, worked amazingly well.

Also can you explain the junken question...Is it two groups of students battling? And who's points are being lost or taken if so? I made them do me on the fly but doesnt work if the students win.
