Wheels of English

A flexible review game to play with large classes.

Before you play: Make a list of questions or vocabulary words to ask your class and divide them into easy and hard categories.

Divide the class into two groups and have them come up one at a time. I usually start from the front of the class on both sides of the room and work my way back and around. Have them janken and the winner gets to pick and easy or hard question. The first person to answer the question wins and gets to spin the wheel for points. Just press the wheel once to start it and once to stop it. On the Hard wheel you will see two sections with magnets and those ones let you steal points from the other team. Once they are done hit the reset button and go again.

The possibilities are only limited by what you want to teach, so get creative and have some fun

I like this idea! Is there anyway to make the wheel spin faster? I feel that the students will very easily be able to manipulate it aha

Yes. If you go to the animation pane and right click the spin animation (the yellow one) you will see an option for settings (marked with an E). Go to the tab marked "timing" and click on the label that is marked with an "N". The lower the number, the faster it spins
