This is a set of 25 Questions for a Typhoon end of year review game for 3rd grade.
There are four categories:
-Spelling
-Question and Answer
-Translation (English to Japanese)
-Translation (Japanese to English)
This was made with the help of a JTE for the Japanese translations. I have sometimes made slight adjustments for different classes if I have had a slightly lower level class, but in general they have been able to handle all the questions.
It sometimes takes them a while to come up with answer, or you might have to allow them a few guesses so they can hear why certain guesses are wrong, but it's a great challenge for them and means that everyone gets a chance to speak and answer different types of questions.
Note: For the Question and Answer section, I usually give an example sentence to stress that they must use the grammar given in the quesion and that the answer must be a full sentence and not just a word or two.
