I had a lot of fun making this activity, so I thought I'd share!
I illustrated a fun activity for students to practice the use of prepositions. It starts with a quick review of the words and how to use them in a sentence, then goes onto the guessing activity.
For the first picture slide, prompt students to call out the items in the room. "What is in the room?" "There is a bed, a table, a desk, a chair, etc."
Then move on to Mewo bouncing around the room. Once they figure it out, prompt students to stay the full sentence as a group: "Mewo is in the room. Mewo is on the chair. Mewo is behind the window." etc.
For the last two slides, there is a blank page without Mewo. It's fun to be like "Where's Mewo?" and have the students try to guess, then go to the next slide... "Mewo is in the drawer!"
I also included "at" and "in" to help describe places. "Mewo is at the Eiffel Tower." "Mewo is at a cafe in Paris."
Note: This was made using Keynote, so you may have to change some of the fonts and animations if you're using PowerPoint.
Edit: I added a transparent Mewo png in case you guys wanted to put him in other places! Have fun!
