Activity

So, what do you think?

Get groups of students to work together to make sentences expressing opinions on popular topics - good for large class sizes

Students need:

-Whiteboards and Erasers

You need:

-Laptop and Projector

Instructions can be found in the powerpoint, but the basic idea is that you're getting the teams to work together to come up with gramatically correct sentences expressing opinions and the reasons for them.

One example:
"Dragonball is better than ONEPIECE." is the statement in the powerpoint.

"I don't think so, because Dragonball is very old."
or
"I agree because ONEPIECE is too long"

Are both acceptable answers

It would be great if you could do this on the student tablets rather than from the projector at the front. That way each group could work at their own pace and report their opinions to a teacher each time they complete a question.
