Students listen to the rules of various sports and must guess the correct sport.

DETAILED EXPLANATION:

  • You and the JTE alternate between telling the class the rules to various sports. When a student thinks they know the answer, they raise their hand and ask, "Is it ~?"

Here are some rules:

VOLLEYBALL

  • You must not touch the net.
  • ...must hit, not catch the ball.
  • ...must not cross the net's line.
  • ...must not hit the ball four times.

BASKETBALL

  • You must not push other players.
  • ...must not hold other players' arms.
  • ...must not go out of bounds.
  • ...must not double-dribble.

BASEBALL

  • You must not throw four balls.
  • ...must not make three strikes.
  • ...must run to 1st before running to 2nd.
  • ...must not throw wild pitches.

TENNIS

  • You must not hit the ball into the net.
  • ...must not use two rackets.
  • ...must hit the ball over the net.
  • ...must not hit the ball over the end line.

SOCCER

  • You must not touch the ball with your hands.
  • ...must not kick the ball over the lines.
  • ...must not kick other players.
  • ...must not kick the ball into your own team's goal.
