Here are 5 lessons worth of worksheets from Part 2 of Vision Quest II for my 3rd SHS (p.78-88). I'm not sure if anyone else uses this textbook, but feel free to use the worksheets and make them your own. I did Eiken writing with these students last school year, so some of the concepts were already familiar to them. Feel free to adjust to your school's level!
Some of the activities worked, some needed the JTE to translate despite me thinking it was easy. Each lesson covers a different type of writing and different transition words:
Lesson 1: Listing your ideas (first, second, third, ...)
Lesson 2: Adding ideas or examples (for example, such as, additionally, ...)
Lesson 3: Comparing two things (unlike, in contrast, on the other hand, likewise, ...)
Lesson 4: Explaining cause and effect (because, for this reason, so, as a result, ...)
Lesson 5: How to write a summary
I put all five lessons into one document, and made a Google slide for each with pictures from the textbook and my own activities.
Let me know if any slides or pages need explaining! I did everything on Google but downloaded as ppt and word, so if the transitions or lines don't appear correctly that might be why.
