Card Collecting

A rock scissors papers card collecting game useful for practicing various simple sentences.

Hand out three or four cards to each student.

The students make pairs and ask each other simple questions. They then put down one of their cards and answer it based on that card.

For example 'Where were you?' 'I was in the classroom'

Then play rock scissors paper. The winner takes the losers card. They say thanks and bye and move on to make another pair. When they have no more cards they sit down. After a couple of students have sat down stop the game and see who has the most cards.

If it went well you can play another round redistributing the cards.
