I use a number of these for various lesson points. I'll post them as I use them this year. They are modeled on the air travel game from the Englipedia. It as been reposted here.
If we are best friends worksheet
Practice the sentences and have the students circle one of the two choices.
Make pairs.
One student begins by making the first statement. The other responds with 'me too' or 'Oh, really I ~'. If its the later they say goodbye and find a new partner. If its 'me too' then they go onto the next question and the second student makes the second statement. The first student then responds 'Me too' or 'Oh really I ~'. If they get 'Me too' here then they sign each other's worksheet, say thank you and bye and find a new partner. If they got 'oh really' then they just say goodbye and don't sign the paper. I usually set a time limit or continue until a few students have collected six signs.
Demonstrate the activity with the JTE using an enlarged copy.
