For part 1, students have to ask each other 'May I___?' questions. I made them stay in their table but you could have them stand up and go around the room.
They ask 'May I borrow your phone?', then write down their partner's name and answer. I found it helpful to go over common responses first and keep them on the board to practice 'Yes you may' 'Sure' 'No, sorry' etc.
Part 2 is just a simple fill in the blanks worksheet for 'Could you'.
