Relative Pronoun Matching

A find your partner game where students use slips of paper to complete a relative sentence.

Before class print out the worksheet and cut it in half to separate the front and back ends of the sentences, then cut them into slips.

Give half the students the front half of the sentences, other students the back half of the sentences.

Students stand up and try to find a matching pair. When they find a match, they come to teacher to check. If the grammar is OK, it is ok.

If a match is successful, give the students new front and back of sentence.

Play until every student has made several matches. Check how many matches students got. Ask if there were any sentences they thought were funny.
