Preposition Pictionary

This game is played like you would Pictionary, except all the cards are in the form of prepositions.

DETAILED EXPLANATION:

  • After dividing the class into two teams, have one person from each team draw a card.
  • Upon hearing "Go!", they commence trying to draw their card on the board.
  • The team which guesses the card wins a point.

VARIATIONS:

  • You can make it a timed game.
  • Another way to make the game faster is to have both teams guess at the same time.

TIPS/CAUTIONS:

  • Make sure your students know the vocabulary from the game starts.
