After practicing time a bit make groups for a quiz game.
Ask what time it is in Japan now.
Click on one of the flags. Click for the airplane to appear in Japan then click again to have it fly to another country. Click through a few pictures and then the distance. Finally click to see the time difference. The students should race to a teacher to give the time in that country now.
I either give points based on speed (whichever students come to a teacher first get more points) or I bring in random point cards. Students prefer random point cards.
Do an answer check and then move onto the next distination. A new student should bring the answer. Before moving on ask what time it is now in Japan.

can you write the names of the dishes pictured in a separate slide like Egypt, the pastry from Vancouver, and south Africa ?
I added a version with labels. You have to double click on the flags. Once on flag and then on checkmark to go to the screen.
In the version with labels, the UK sport is labeled as polo but it's not polo it's cricket.

Glad you liked it. I think that first picture was the old iphone time zones screen in the clock app. Its probably a bit dated now.
