Movie Mania Trivia 🎥

A PPT with lots of fun questions about popular movies and TV shows. This is perfect as a warm up game or a full-sized lesson. It's also a great way to show them popular movies dubbed in English!

WHAT'S NEW:

18/12/2023:
- Replaced some of the AI pictures for a higher res one
- Modified the SFX to make sure they don't overlap

The theme for this year's JHS English camp is “Movie Studio/Hollywood”.

There are 4 question types:
- Guess the Pixelated Picture
- 3 Hint Quiz
- Guess that Soundtrack (there are four levels, level 1 being the hardest)
- Guess which picture is made by AI
NOTE: Please look at Slide 5 for all the questions.

NOTE:
- Feel free to simplify the English to make it more suitable ES students, change the EIC logo to something else, replace the movies, etc.
- You can also replace Hula Oji-san (Iwaki City Mascot) to someone else. One of the ALTs did a fantastic job drawing him and he looks amazing!
- The sound track and some videos might be a bit loud because the venue that we used didn't have good speakers so you may need to lower the volume
- You can hide the Godzilla and Sadako movie scene (from Scary Movie 3) if you think it's too scary to show the kids especially in ES
