    Students will play the roles of the customs officer and tourist in a guessing activity.

    Students race to be the first person to 'shoot' their opponent's card in order to steal it.

    Students aim to collect as many points as they can by asking questions to discover the object the teacher secretly chose.

    Uso means lie. Students choose objects they don't like and try to make their partner believe they do like it.

    Students translate Perfect Present sentences from Japanese to English in order to solve the mystery of who kidnapped Miki Ando.

    Students ask other classmates if they can read unknown kanji characters.

    Students practice giving and receiving directions while playing Othello.

    Students learn to hear the difference between katakana pronunciation and REAL English by playing this fast paced card game.

    A number guessing game where students try NOT to get the correct number. Reviews 0-100. (or any other range)

  • Shopping For Mom

    Students go shopping using Mom's list while role playing and practicing the target grammar.

    This is a cool Crazy 8's game that practices the months of the year.

  • Dice Of Fortune

    Students guess letters of the sentence on the board, similar to Wheel of Fortune.

  • Give us a Card, Please

    Students exchange cards with their classmates, practicing 2 sentence patterns: "Give me a card," and "Give us a card."

  • Sazae-san's Family

    This is a simple game in which the students become a member of the Sazae-san family.

  • Pyramid Game

    Students have to think of English words, phrases and sentences in order to help other students understand the mystery word.

  • Squares

    In this strategy game, students draw lines to try and complete a square.

  • Tools Of The Trade

    This simple activity is to introduce the simple Passive Voice phrase "...is used by...", and to expose the class to various tools people use in their occupations.

    Students try to get as many cards as possible by asking others what they have to do.

    The ALT and JTE "steal" items from the students' desks and the students must claim them using demonstrative pronouns.
