Designed for use with Here We Go 5 - Unit 9 ("My hero is my brother."). Ideal for 5th and 6th grade.
Each slide has a silhouette of a character that ES students are likely familiar with. The silhouettes start out as just a small part of the figure, and more can be revealed in levels. At each level, ask the question on the slide ("Who is he/she?") and have students guess by answering "He/she is ___."
For example:
- "Who is she?"
- "She is Anya Forger."
If students cannot guess, have them answer, "I don't know." Continue revealing more until students guess correctly. When a character is guessed correctly, the original image of the character can be revealed.
You can use all of just a few of the slides - however many you have time for.
