Elementary School grade 5 or higher.

Directions:
Teacher sends the "Exel" file to all students' PCs.
Students click on the yellow bar written "Enable Editing" "Enable Content" or "コンテンツ有効化"

How to do the activity:
Devide the class in 2 groups, Restaurants and Customers.
The Restaurant students click on "Restaurant" and the Customers students click on "Wallet".
Customers can recharge their wallets by clicking on the ATM machine.

After it's all set, costumers go to the restaurants and order some food. Ex;

Student A. What would you like?
Student B. Curry and rice, please.
Student A. 490 yen please.
Student B. Here you are. (Clicking on the 100 yen button 4 times, 50 yen once, and 10 yen 4 times = 490 that is going to be subtracted from the total cashed).
Student A. Here you are. (Clicking on the food that was ordered and the food is going to be sold out).

That's the basic idea, but you can also use expressions like; How much? Anything else? Pizza and hambuger, please. I'll have 2 hotdogs, please etc...

      This was really cool and my students greatly enjoyed using it in class. I even was inspired to learn a little visual basic in excel myself and can now make my own similar activities in the future, thanks for the great idea and the great activity!

      @AndrewL I'm really glad to hear that. Basically everything that I've learn to create that is from YouTube. There are a lot of great stuff there on how to use macro. I'm sure you will be able to create great activities and please share with us when you do. Cheers!
