Common Mistakes Quiz Game and Written Quiz

This is a quiz game and a written quiz for third-year JHS students that will help them prepare for their entrance exam.

1. Divide the class into teams. Each team should have a small whiteboard, a board marker, and an eraser.
2. The teacher assigns a team number to each group, and the students write their team numbers in the left corner of their whiteboard.
3. The teacher displays a slide with two sentence choices (A or B), and students must select the correct one, writing either A or B on their whiteboard within 5 seconds. (Use a timer.)
4. After 5 seconds, students should raise their whiteboards to display their answers.
5. The teacher reveals the correct answer by showing the next slide and provides an explanation for why it is correct.
6. Teams should record their score in the left corner under their team number when they answer correctly.
7. At the conclusion of the game, teams display their total score to determine the winning team.
8. After the quiz game, the teacher distributes the written quiz. The contents of the written quiz are the same as those of the quiz game, serving to assess whether the students have learned from the game. The students should write the correct sentence.
