Students will practice speaking by doing a picture description.
It can be simple action description by using "ing"
Example:
Slide 1 (Question): What are they doing?
Slide 2 (Answer): They are calling on the phone.
You can play games along with this practice.
Idea 1: "Rock, scissors, paper".
Winner ask question, Loser answers.
Idea 2: "Tic Tac Toe". Whole class. Team A vs Team B.
AET ask question by turns to one student from each team and once they answered they get to choose the spot they want.
Idea 3: "Dice game".
You can make teams of 6 students each and assign a number from 1-6 to each student. The students roll the dice within their teams and the number that comes out is the student to answer the question.
