  • Let's Write Collection ✏️ (中1年2年3年)

    A collection of all my JHS Let's Write activities I have been asked to do over the years. For most of the writing tasks, I have made PPTs providing examples, extra toolboxes, and of course worksheets.

  • Escape the Classroom

    Escape room using review materials from recent grammar points and vocabulary. Ss must defuse a bomb, discover a traitor, save a hostage and unlock the door!

  • ABC Bingo

    Introduction lesson or review of the ABCs in the form of BINGO.

  • Colors/Sports/Food Treasure Hunt 3rd Grade Version

    Same as my other game with 3rd grade vocab, a team game where teams take turns guessing where the treasure is, getting either +2/5 Pts, a bomb -3Pts or stealing 2 Pts from another team.

  • NHE6 U5: Animal Examples

    A PowerPoint that uses a variety of animals to demonstrate the grammar for the unit.

  • Sushi Scramble 'SVOO=that clause'

    @JoshJ's excellent Powerpoint game. This is for the very specific grammar point referred to as 'SVOO=that clause' in the One World 2 JHS textbook. I just entered the questions into the template.

  • Which, A or B?

    Have students read the prompts on the board in pairs. Have each kid select and write down their choice for a reveal!

    In this game, two players take turns shading a grid. The aim is to be the first to create a line of four shaded cells in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

  • Basic Introduction

    A short PPT I made to help my special needs students practice a self-introduction. I made examples using popular characters all the students should know.

  • Like Rally 👍 (Speaking Act.)

    Perfect activity to practice any dialogue. Students walk around, find a classmate and practice the dialogue. Once they're done, they can receive a "Nice!" sticker from their partner.

  • Mario Kart English Race 🏎️ (Boardgame)

    Great for reviewing a wide range of things (unit(s), Let's Talk, Enjoy Communication, a specific grammar point, etc.) in a Mario-Kart board game style.

  • Avatar the Last Airbender Class(es)

    This activity is good for an elective class (or any class with a motivation to learn English in my opinion). If you're an ATLA fan, it is also a fun class to teach!

  • Snoopy's World Vacation (Time Zones)

    Travel the world with Snoopy and calculate the time in different time zones. Each location also includes some famous locations/a famous food.

    A quick game that can be played as a warm up or end-of-class activity where the students play in teams in hopes of finding diamond by making sentences.

    A series of kahoot quizzes for JHS first graders that go with the New Horizon 2020 textbook series.

    Have fun counting various school supplies falling from the ceiling, concluding with an epic pencil case kaiju battle!

  • How Are You? Feelings Introduction and Quiz

    Powerpoint used to introduce feelings (happy, sad, sleepy, hungry, sad, tired, cold, hot). Includes a name that feeling quiz with popular characters (Anya, Pikachu, etc).

  • One Piece Wanted Game

    This is a fun finding game providing good speaking practice using who, what, when, where and how questions. The activity involves a PowerPoint and printable cards and is very easy to adapt.

  • What time is it? Quick PowerPoint game

    Students look at the provided picture and four clock faces. Students then choose which time they think it is ('It's 1PM!'), click the face to see if correct or not. 5 questions have been made.

  • Fantasy English Game for JHS

    The Fantasy English Game is a game that essentially brings English and Dungeon crawling together. The kids are paired up into groups of 3 & 4 and and compete to win the game.
