My teacher requested combining Talk 3 (pg. 47) and Get Plus 1 (pgs. 48-49) from New Crown 3. The students worked in pairs to create a skit using the 3 conversation points introduced: confirm, change the subject and words that express feelings and emotions. I used the book examples, had the students repeat and check the meaning in Japanese. Then, I showed them the powerpoint, and how to use different phrases. Gave them some ideas for topics (sports, anime, music, vacation...) Some students were not so enthusiastic, but other students were really creative. I helped them with grammar and at the end of class, some of the pairs shared their skits.
